Account Executive
TransferRoom is a hyper-growth B2B SaaS Marketplace on a mission to change the football transfer market for the better. We do this by empowering football clubs, agents and players to be successful in the transfer market by giving them real-time market intelligence and direct access to a global network of decision-makers.
TransferRoom is market leading and has become a must have for key stakeholders in football’s transfer market. It’s used by 800+ clubs, including Man City, Liverpool and PSG, 550 agencies and 8000 professional players. It has empowered clubs and agents to facilitate over 6000 transfers since launch in 2017.
Brief intro to the role:
As an Account Executive at TransferRoom, you play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our B2B marketplace platform within the football industry. Leveraging your expertise in sales and relationship management, you are responsible for acquiring new business, fostering customer relationships, and facilitating the expansion of our client base. Your ability to understand market dynamics, identify opportunities, and forge strategic partnerships will be essential in achieving our ambitious growth targets.
What you’ll be doing:
- New business: Prospect, pitch, and conduct outbound activities to generate leads and secure meetings with football clubs and agents to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the assigned market(s).
- Customer expansion: Identify opportunities and targets for upselling, pitch, and close new expansion deals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Relationship management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to help identify opportunities for new business and account expansion.
- Team collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (especially Customer Success & Marketing) to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts.
- Performance management: Using HubSpot to track your own sales performance, manage your pipeline, and ensure you are always on top of all your key metrics and activity targets.
Who You Are
- 2+ years experience working in a SaaS or membership business and/or a high growth start-up environment with a proven track record in developing new business;
- A hunter with proven track record of pitching at CxO level;
- Proven experience in outbound sales with a track record of exceeding targets
- Sports experience is not a prerequisite but an interest and ability to talk intelligently about football is a must;
- Full Drivers license;
- Able to travel up to 50% of the time;
- Strong network within football, specifically with clubs and agents in the APAC region is a plus.
