Brief intro the the role

We're seeking a talented Senior Mobile Developer (6 months contract) skilled in React Native to join our dynamic team in revolutionizing the intersection of technology and football. From designing and developing cutting-edge solutions to collaborating with cross-functional teams, your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our product.

What you’ll be doing:

• Architect, build, and maintain responsive, stable mobile applications using React Native
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features
• Optimise application performance for speed and scalability
• Diagnose and fix bugs for a seamless user experience
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in mobile development
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and standards compliance
• Continuously evaluate and improve application development processes and tools
• Participate in sprint planning and task breakdown
• Participate in product engineering efforts through design, development and deployment
• Participate in future-generation architectural decision-making efforts with other team members

Who you are:

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development
• Experience developing custom modules in iOS and Android
• Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, and git
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in an evolving and dynamic environment
• Passion for learning and keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with an innovative mindset
• Self-starter attitude, taking ownership and driving forward the work from conception to delivery
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and to interact efficiently with others
• Show a knack for picking up new skills quickly and a genuine eagerness to enhance your technical abilities
• Be comfortable in an agile software development environment
